Fall Courses Revised

The Urban Ministry Institute announced that the fall schedule has been revised. Course offerings are posted on the Mission Indy web site. You can also register there.

These courses are offered not-for-credit one day only each. The course fee will be $25 which includes lunch.
“Theology of the Urban Context,” taught by Dr. Michael Pabarcus, Professor of Urban Studies at St. Louis Christian College, is scheduled for 9am – 4pm, Saturday, November 3, 2007.
“Multi-Ethnic Congregations,” taught by Dr. James Lewis, Professor of Theology and Ethics at Anderson School of Theology, is scheduled for 9am – 4pm, Saturday, December 1, 2007.

Urban Ministry Institute Spring 07 Offerings

Mission Indy has announced the Urban Ministry Institute Spring 2007 course offerings. You can either download the application and flyer at the downloads page or register online.

Two courses are offered: UM 701: “Islam and Ministry in Today’s Urban Context” and UM 703: “Ethnic Relations in Urban Ministry”. Both are 3 credit hours and have an application and fee deadline of January 15, 2007.

Mission Indy announces the initiation of the Urban Ministry Institute. This new institute will provide a pathway for graduate, undergraduate, and non-credit level courses to more effectively train students for ministry in an ever-increasing urban world. Check it out under the Urban Institute tab on the menu.

Don’t forget to check out the inaugural course offering. Application and tuition deadline is August 25th. So if you’re interested, please hurry.
